Piling in Northern Sydney
14T Excavator for the engineering of a shoring wall SGE’s team are developing.
Our in-house design team executed a complex plan to help with excess tolerance that causes significant stress when pendulum drilling.
Initially SGE piled the outside run on the middle pad to retain the neighbouring properties, moving on to using the spoil to create a ramp to the front of the private property for the shoring piles. After executing this precisely, the team used 11m piles for the lift shaft along the side of the house + 3 limited access piles under the house. Our in-house made drilling template helping with precision. ( Yellow caps were added to the star pickets ).
“Northern Beaches update: in just 9 days our team completed all the shoring piles, including making benches as we progressed and finishing in the private residence with 11.5m piles for the lift shaft working in close proximity to the existing structure plus two angled piles under the existing house. ( let’s say the tilt hitch come in handy to manoeuvre the drive unit around the obstacle course. To say this week has been extremely challenging our highly skilled team handled it well, now time for the capping beam, shotcrete and Excavation!”- Lewis Holder, CEO Specialised Ground Engineering.
